I sacrificed a lot of things. I've always been the first person to hold up my hand and say, "I'm ambitious." That's why I come from Wales, and that's why I'm here. If you're not ambitious, you don't have the drive, it just doesn't happen. And I was always ambitious, but never ruthlessly ambitious. You know, the only time I ever had a problem was when I was, like, an unknown actress and I had just a small part in something, and then I'd get the wrath of some actress and she'd get people terrified. Like she was the wicked witch or something, you know. You'd try and be really nice and then you go, "What am I wasting my time for?" And then I never met that person since. I can't wait to bump into her again. I'll say, "Oh, I can't remember you, what is your name?" I can't wait to be cast in something with her. |
