There's a very visceral response to you especially from men in films like "Zorro." Have you ever solicited that type of response in your performances?

No, not really. I know my husband saw me in "Zorro," so I guess he was one of many, huh? I should have shopped around. No, I don't think so. I never had a real boyfriend till I was, like, 19 or something. I was just never--I wasn't interested, really. I was like, "Ooh boys, yuck!" I mean it was, like, something's wrong with this woman; she's nineteen years old. No, I was always going to London, doing my thing. I was never, like, never hung out really with, you know, very focused and blinkered in a way. But I never had--I don't get that all the time from men. But I appreciate it, thank you very much. |
